We are excited to have this be the official Veterans Day event following the parade in

Orlando City. We will have a DJ, guest speakers, and a silent auction at this high profile mixer.

Brian Koziol is a renowned hospitality expert and one of 271 people in the world to pass the most prestigious sommelier examination and earn the title Master Sommelier in 2007.

 

His career journey consists of a diverse background in all styles of restaurant and bar concepts through work experiences at the Walt Disney World Resort and The Ritz-Carlton. 

 

While working at Disney’s Victoria & Albert’s Restaurant in 2003, he was named Wine & Spirits Magazine Best New Sommeliers and elevated the wine program to a Wine Spectator Best of Award Excellence. He was the driving force in the creation of the beverage program for the Esquire The Best Bars in America 2020: Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge Oga’s Cantina at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Under Brian’s stewardship, the Walt Disney World Resort beverage program in 2020 received the VIBE Vista Award for Best Overall – Hotels, Casinos & Cruise Lines and Best Spirits Program.

During his experience working in alcohol distribution, Brian represented some of the world’s best wineries and distilleries including tenures working for the Robert Mondavi Winery, Beringer and Penfolds. Currently, Brian is the Vice President of Strategic Development for Palomar Beverage Company, one of the premier fine wine and craft spirits distributors in the county.  Brian is an Honorary Professor of Wine Education at the University of South Carolina.

Guest Speaker: Dr Rafael Bones

Dr. Raphael Bones was born and raised in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico.  He grew up in a family that enjoys boating and water sports. While attending the University of Puerto Rico, he joined the US Navy as he felt committed to serving his country.  At the birth of the new millennia he graduated from the Universidad Central Del Caribe Medical School. After completing two years of the General Surgery residency program in Puerto Rico he changed his goals and decided to complete his residency in Internal Medicine in 2005.  Completed a fellowship on Integrative medicine in 2014. 

 

As a physician, he has experience in various settings including Emergency Room, as a Hospitalist, and as a Primary Care Provider in outpatient clinics.  Dr. Bones has been a member of The American Medical Association, The Florida Medical Association, The American Association for Physician Leadership, and The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.

 

In 2015 Dr. Bones joined Prixus Medical to practice primary care with integrative functional medicine. Now-a-days, he enjoys practicing holistic medicine and is getting certified on Psychedelic Medicine to offer Ketamine Treatment for mental health patients, especially with PTSD. 

 

In his spare time he loves playing golf, boating, futbol and meditation.

Founded by Michael Hoskins, with a goal to establish a network of holistic practitioners with a wide range of specialties, from licensed mental health counselors, chiropractors, reiki healers, personal trainers, nutritionists, life coaches, and integration coaches across Jacksonville, Orlando, and Melbourne, Florida.
